First

Today my niece Lydia (or Baby Marmalade as I call her ’cause she’s all about the drama) turns one.  Such an exciting time for her!  Last night we celebrated as a family and saw her discover the sweetness of her first birthday cake – love the mess!  It was a big night as she also said her first clearly thought out word – “NO!”  as she grabbed her new toy back from her siblings.  Definitely not a pushover.

SO happy and thankful to be able to celebrate a healthy baby Lydia who came into the world a year ago amidst drama and uncertainty.  I’m also thankful to a patient sister who spent 3 months in the hospital on bed rest to make sure that she baked as long as possible!
